Why hire a professional designer?

I love design, and I love to try new ideas, flow with new creative visions and learn new techniques and technologies. That is why I am an artist, and why I became a graphic designer. Anyone can learn the tools  necessary to become a designer, but what sets a good designer off from a desk top publisher is a finely tuned graphic sensibility that has been fine tuned over the years. This sensibility is created in design school and honed in years of applied use in the field and can be brought to bear on any project in any field. This is what makes the general graphic designer an artist. Any program and any new technique can be learned, and the artistic vision that is then brought to bear takes the end product produced to a new, professional level.

 { an investment in quality design }

I am an in-house graphic designer for an amazing company in Atlanta. I run as a freelance business in the evenings and weekends. What does that mean for you? It means you get a thoroughly dedicated, professional designer who has a smaller overhead than a design house. I only work with a small group of clients with whom I build long lasting relationships. I currently have openings and would love to discuss your needs.

The Cup Gourmet Bakery

I recently acquired Corey’s graphic services to design my outdoor sign, menu, gift/frequency cards, etc for my new cafe. He did an extraordinary job taking my logo to the next level with his creativity energy! He is great to work with and great value for his results!

“Corey Gearhart, our graphic designer and website designer, has been the key to our marketing and branding efforts over the past three years.  Patient with changes, creative, hardworking, and endlessly pragmatic, Corey provided us with logo, business card, letterhead, and website support.  One of the great things Corey did that I was so impressed with was understanding our company mission, our self-identity, and translating that into graphics and media in a way that showcases our strengths.  Without Corey’s patience and flexibility our website would still be flat and static.  Through several revisions, changes to hosting platforms and vacations all on our end, the final product is something we at Triple Green are immensely pleased with.”

I asked Corey to help me design the logo and business cards for a new architectural design firm. I had a million ideas on how to represent the philosophy of Oneness and Sustainability that is the foundation of the company. Corey was able to pull my scattered thoughts into a composition that is meaningful, eyecatchiing and simple. He kept me engaged throughout the entire process and gave me lots of options and feedback. I also put him on a very tight schedule, which he handled with ease. Corey has exceeded my expectations, and I plan to hire him as my web designer as well.
